MM MC romance
Motorcycle club romance runs on two men who would die for each other and a rule that says they can't want each other. Somebody was always going to write the version where they do.
Not a big shelf, and one author wrote most of it. Heat and ending stated up front, and nothing paranormal.

What counts here
Three rules:
- The club has to matter. If you can take the patch off and the story survives, it's a romance with a motorbike in it.
- Contemporary and real. No werewolves, no time travel, no deals with the devil. Two of the biggest books on the Goodreads list are paranormal and they aren't on this one.
- Heat and ending stated for every book, so you know before chapter twenty.
What the heat ratings mean
The five point scale romance readers already use, lowest to highest. Every book below is marked on it.
- Glimpses and kisses a kiss at most, and no sex on or off the page
- Behind closed doors it happens, but the door shuts first
- Open door at least one scene you are in the room for, written without the explicit words
- Explicit open door two or more scenes, explicit, and a range of things happening
- Explicit and plentiful several explicit scenes spread through the book
Is there much MM MC romance?
More than you would guess, and most of it's one author. K.A. Merikan holds eight of the top twenty-five on the main Goodreads list, across four different clubs. Read the subgenre and you're largely reading them.
The rest splits in a way worth knowing about before you buy. Some of these were written MM from the ground up, with a club invented for it. Others are the one gay book inside a long straight series, written for readers who already know the club and its people. Both can be good. They aren't the same experience, and the second kind assumes a lot.

K.A. Merikan
AboutLucifer has been getting by on his own working at a strip club when the Coffin Nails work out he is their president's long-lost son. His father hands him to Tooth, the club vice president, to be looked after. Tooth has spent twelve years in the club waiting for a chance at whoever murdered his lover.
Read it ifYou want the club written as genuinely dangerous rather than as a backdrop, and you can take a lot of damage in both leads.
DifferentThis is the dark end of the shelf and it doesn't soften. Merikan print a themes list on the book's own page, it runs to ten items the blurb never hints at, and you want it before you start rather than after. The tone sits closer to a grim drama than a romance for long stretches. If you want the club to be found family, look further down.

AboutBeast is the straight one, or has always said so, and Knife is his best friend. Book five of the Caroline Springs charter, and the MM entry in a series that's otherwise straight. Rose lives in country Victoria and the Hawks compound is a Melbourne suburb, which makes this the only Australian club here you can actually read yet.
Read it ifYou want an Australian club, and you like the best-friends-first shape where one of them has some catching up to do.
DifferentBook five, and it reads like it. The club and half the cast arrive already established, so starting here means picking up relationships the regulars have had four books to learn. Rated highest of anything on this list with real numbers behind it, so the series readers clearly didn't mind.

Read it ifYou want the club to be the obstacle rather than the setting, and both men to be all the way in it.
DifferentNeither of these two is an innocent dragged into someone else's war. Nick breaks people on his father's orders and Aleksandar is good enough at his job that people get hurt because of it, so if you need one of them to turn out to have been decent all along, this isn't that book. Club violence throughout. Reader notes are on the book page if you want them first.

AboutJaxon earned the road name Snatch on his record with women, which is the joke the book opens on. Robert, called Itchy, is his best friend and has been easier about all of this for longer. The MM book inside a long straight series, and the one most of its readers came to sceptical.
Read it ifYou want two men who already trust each other completely working out what else is there, rather than strangers circling.
DifferentThe most read book on this page, and the most divisive: a lot of its audience arrived from four MF books and had opinions about the switch. Reviewers who liked it call it the emotional one. It's also deep in a series, so the club and the cast are people you're expected to already know.

AboutLogan walks into Blade's bar looking like he doesn't belong in a clubhouse, which is true, and like he has nowhere else to go, which is also true. He is the son of the Vipers Nest president, sent in to spy on Hell's Ankhor by a father who beats him. Blade is the man he is supposed to be informing on.
Read it ifYou want the club as the safer place, which is unusual here, and a plot with an actual clock on it.
DifferentWritten as a series from the start, so unlike most of this list it doesn't assume you know anyone. Five books, and the later ones rate higher than this one: Rebel is 4.30, the best score on the page. Starting at book one is the right call but it isn't the strongest entry.

DifferentThe relationship is eight months old when the book opens, which is the recurring complaint: reviewers who didn't get on with it say the chemistry is asserted rather than built. Ryker is possessive to a degree that's either the appeal or the dealbreaker, and there's no middle position in the reviews.

The two big ones that aren't here
Two of the best known books in this corner are Axel's Pup by Kim Dare and Laurent and the Beast by K.A. Merikan, and neither is on the list above.
Axel's Pup is a werewolf book. Laurent and the Beast is a Beauty and the Beast retelling where an indentured servant travels from 1805 to a clubhouse in 2017 via a deal with the devil. Both are well liked and neither is what you get if you search for MC romance and expect clubs. Go to them if that sounds better than what's up there.
If you have run out
K.A. Merikan is the obvious next move, because there's so much of them. Road of No Return starts the Hounds of Valhalla and has 2,866 ratings at 3.58, which is the lowest score of their big ones, so start with the Coffin Nails instead.
Sideways from here, MM romance about men in closed violent worlds shares more with this shelf than motorbikes do. Where Death Meets the Devil is on the Australian page and does the same job with mercenaries.
A note on mine
One of those is mine, in the list with everyone else and with no rating, because rating your own book would be a bit much.

Another Man's Colours is the other one, set in 2001, and it won't be out until late 2026. Everything else here is American.
Do I have to read a whole series?
For half of these, effectively yes. Snatch is book five of Cerberus and Hear Me Out is book five of its charter, so both assume you know the club and the cast. Blade and The Devil's Ride are the better starting points if you want to begin at a beginning.
